Doctors, Dentists, Lawyers, Universities, and countless other businesses all have a person at the front office to handle the day-to-day administrative tasks of the business. Sometimes we call this person secretary, administrative assistant, or receptionist. Having this individual as part of the team allows the boss to focus on income generating tasks, ideas, and connections.
The only difference between an administrative assistant and a virtual assistant is the location of their office. While admin assistant’s need a space in your office, a computer, staplers, pens and highlighters, a virtual assistant has everything they need at their home office.
I was an office administrative assistant for seven years, and now I’m a Virtual Assistant. Through online communication and project management tools, secure password sharing such as LastPass, and regular zoom meetings, I can be your remote administrative assistant: a.k.a. Virtual Assistant.
I’m a mom of four and I want to be available to my children, but I also have administrative skills, a handful of hours per week, and a burning desire to contribute to something positive.
